Bartender - The Spencer Hotel

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for Bartenders to join our F&B Team at The Spencer Hotel. We have full and part time openings.

As part of the MHL Hotel Collection, The 4* Spencer Hotel is in a prime location overlooking the River Liffey in the heart of Dublin’s financial district. Home to 209 guest bedrooms; 8 Meeting Rooms; The Spencer Cocktail bar & East Restaurant, we are located within 10 minutes’ walk from O’Connell Street, with easy access to Connolly & Dublin Docklands Dart & commuter train stations. The Luas and Dublin Bus services are also within minutes’ walk from the Hotel.

Main Responsibilities:

- Providing a warm welcome for guests
- Provide an excellent customer service that anticipates individual guest needs.
- Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
- Preparing and serving drinks and cocktails to the highest standard with personality and flair

- Assist in the development of the beverage offering within the hotel
- Ensure the bar service area is clean and tidy, during and after service
- To be a salesperson and go beyond the general level of service expected.
- To maintain the front and back of house areas to a very high standard of presentation.
- To assist colleagues in other areas without prompting in a spirit of co-operation and teamwork.
- To ensure that health and safety and other procedures are respected (especially HACCP)
