Description:
The San Telmo Group was born from a love of South American food and lifestyle, starting in 2011 with the dream of bringing an authentic Argentine Parilla restaurant to Melbourne. Since then, the group has expanded, introducing more South American flavors through Palermo’s Italian influences, Asado’s Spanish-inspired menu and Pastuso's Peruvian flair - as well as Robata's Japanese grillhouse. At its core, the focus remains on traditional charcoal and fire cooking, using the finest Australian ingredients while embracing fresh, exciting takes on a time-honoured food culture.

As a Full-Time Bar Salesperson at San Telmo, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your passion for beverages and hospitality can shine. You'll develop expert knowledge of South American wines, spirits, and cocktails while engaging with guests to create memorable experiences. This role offers hands-on experience in a high-energy bar setting, the chance to refine your sales and customer service skills, and the support of a passionate and knowledgeable team.

Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate for the Bar Salesperson role at San Telmo will have a strong background in customer service and a passion for hospitality. 1 year of experience (minimum) in a premium bar or restaurant setting is preferred, along with a solid understanding of cocktails, wine and spirits. A proactive attitude, the ability to work well under pressure, and the willingness to cross-train on the floor once established in the bar role are key. Full-Time availability, including evenings and weekends where needed, will be critical in servicing the bar's needs.
