Job Summary

• The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages to guests responsibly in accordance with AGLC rules and company policies.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by senior management that will contribute to the success of the company’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

BAR SETUP

• Ensures bar is clean, fully stocked, and visually presentable
• Secures all beverage supplies, cash, and POS systems BAR SERVICE
• Serves responsibly and in compliance with AGLC regulations Maintains professionalism and delivers excellent guest service
• Prepares all drinks as per BEO and communicates special requests with supervisors
• Tracks supply usage and keeps supervisors informed of stock levels and timing cues

POS, DRINK TICKETS AND CASH MANAGEMENT

• Manages cash floats and ensures POS functionality
• Accurately rings in sales and collects payment
• Handles drink tickets as instructed and follows all cash-out procedures
• Prevents overages/shortages through accurate tracking

BAR BREAKDOWN

• Cleans, sanitizes, and returns all bar equipment and supplies to proper storage
• Ensures mobile bars, glassware, and bar spaces are reset and organized post-event

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CLOVER POS system is a plus.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is advantageous.
• Experience in catering or banquet services is preferred but not required.
• Must possess valid PRO Serve certification as required by local regulations.
