Position Overview: As a Bartender at Golden Sparrow, you will play a vital role in crafting innovative and visually stunning cocktails that complement our food menu. You’ll bring your expert knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, strong presentation skills, and top-notch customer service to create a memorable experience for our guests. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute creatively to the drink menu, working alongside our kitchen team to pair drinks with our small plates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve creative cocktails and beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, with a focus on presentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, and recommending drinks.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
• Ensure proper stocking of bar supplies and manage inventory.
• Assist in the development of new, innovative cocktail recipes and seasonal menus.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure harmonious food and drink pairings.
• Educate guests about our cocktail offerings and engage in storytelling to elevate their experience.
• Handle cash transactions, manage bar tabs, and process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate honesty and trustworthiness in handling cash and managing financial transactions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and continuously improve your craft.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced, high-quality bar or restaurant setting.
• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Strong mixology skills and creativity in drink-making.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and deliver a memorable experience.
• Exceptional presentation skills with attention to detail in garnishing and drink aesthetics.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Honest and trustworthy, with a proven ability to handle cash responsibly.
• Knowledge of bar safety and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems for ringing up orders quickly and efficiently.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently during busy hours while maintaining high standards of service.
• Team player with a willingness to collaborate with both bar and kitchen staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
