We are looking for a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixology, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for crafting exquisite cocktails, providing personalised service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our beverage program.
Responsibilities:
- Mixology Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour.
- Customer Service: Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, anticipate their needs, and create a welcoming atmosphere at the bar.
- Menu Knowledge: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of our beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, and offer recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
- Upselling: Proactively promote specials, signature cocktails, and seasonal offerings to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
- Cleanliness and Organisation: Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including proper storage of ingredients, glassware, and equipment, in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and company policies, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age and refusing service to intoxicated guests when necessary.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed, and minimising waste to control costs.
- Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, attend training sessions, and participate in workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in mixology and hospitality.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment, preferably within a hotel or upscale restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and build rapport.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €15.00-€15.50 per hour
