Billing Clerk (Family Law)
Our firm is seeking a Billing Clerk to join our busy office. The ideal applicant is a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task without sacrificing attention to detail. As the Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to processing invoices, collecting information for and preparing mediation packets, answering phone calls, and assisting with general office duties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process invoices and other billing records.
- Answer clients’ questions about billing records.
- Communicate with customers via fax, telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face.
- Receive payments for services and adjust invoices when necessary.
- Manage accounts receivable.
- Deal with all billing issues
- Create Financial Declaration
- Prepare Attorney Fee Agreements
- Collect information and prepare Mediation Packets
- Assist in daily office task
Skills
- Previous experience as a billing clerk or a similar role
- Excellent math skills
- Strong communication, organizational and time- management
- Computer literacy
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
