Billing Clerk (Family Law)

Our firm is seeking a Billing Clerk to join our busy office. The ideal applicant is a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task without sacrificing attention to detail. As the Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to processing invoices, collecting information for and preparing mediation packets, answering phone calls, and assisting with general office duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices and other billing records.
• Answer clients’ questions about billing records.
• Communicate with customers via fax, telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face.
• Receive payments for services and adjust invoices when necessary.
• Manage accounts receivable.
• Deal with all billing issues
• Create Financial Declaration
• Prepare Attorney Fee Agreements
• Collect information and prepare Mediation Packets
• Assist in daily office task

Skills

• Previous experience as a billing clerk or a similar role
• Excellent math skills
• Strong communication, organizational and time- management
• Computer literacy
• Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
• Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
