SUMMARY

Performs a variety of duties which involve basic accounting and bookkeeping including overseeing monies collected, posting to accounts and coordinating deposit activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive miscellaneous forms of payment (cash, checks, credit)
  • Review billing information against received payment and resolve discrepancies
  • Verify that transactions comply with company procedures and policies
  • Prepare bank account deposit documents
  • Post accounting data on a daily basis
  • Maintain database by entering data into the computer
  • Reconcile revenue collected on a daily basis
  • Answer incoming calls and provide routine information regarding payments
  • Participate to other receivable activities including preparing, verifying, correcting invoices and entering related data
  • Performs related duties as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma
  • Being bilingual would be an asset
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft GP an asset
  • Meticulous
  • Able to manage high level of transactions

  • Accounts receivable: 1 year (required)
