Billing Specialist - Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) On Site $16.00 per hour

Together, we provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a full range of mental health needs, ensuring accessible, person‑centered support for those we serve.
What We Offer:
Hourly Rate $16 per hour- 37.5 hour work week
Schedule 8:00am to 4:00PM Monday to Friday

What does this position look like~
A skilled Billing Specialist who provides accurate, timely, and professional billing services for clients who self‑pay or use Medicaid, Medicare, and/or commercial insurance. This role requires strong collaboration with staff, clients, and reimbursement partners, along with effective communication skills. The Billing Specialist manages documentation, maintains client accounts, interfaces with reimbursement sources, and utilizes computer‑generated reports to support efficient and compliant billing operations.
What you need to apply~
- Candidates must have a solid understanding of billing principles and practices, preferably within a non‑profit environment.
- Strong competence in routine office operations is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- The role requires effective communication skills, strong organization, and attention to detail.
- The ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility, self‑initiative, sound independent judgment, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five-year driving record that meets organizational standards and qualifies for insurance coverage.
