BOOKKEEPER
Merle Jones Consulting Inc. is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work with a variety of small business clients and be responsible for providing accurate and timely bookkeeping services.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle bookkeeping for a variety of clients
- Bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Communicating with clients regarding bookkeeping matters
- Assisting with month end and year end procedures
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client files
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Previous bookkeeping experience is required
- Experience working in a public accounting firm is considered a strong asset

Position:
- Full Time in office position, occasional remote work may be available but in office attendance is expected.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday with extended hours required during tax season. (March and April)
