Duties
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies
- Conduct account analysis to monitor financial health and identify trends or issues
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy in employee payments
- Prepare detailed reports on account reconciliation, budgeting, and financial summaries for management review
- Support month-end closing procedures by organizing documentation and verifying ledger entries
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
- Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform account analysis and assist with budgeting activities
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external auditors
- Knowledge of accounting standards and best practices to ensure accuracy and transparency
