We are GROWING so we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to manage firm accounting, payroll coordination, vendor relations, and administrative operations. What You'll Do
- Maintain and reconcile firm accounts using QuickBooks on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Process payroll and coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation
- Manage firm insurance renewals including workers' compensation, general liability, and malpractice coverage
- Track and process vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements with precision and timeliness
- Oversee vendor communication and manage general office administration tasks to keep operations running smoothly
- Support firm leadership with administrative projects, recordkeeping, and special initiatives as needed
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or office management experience with demonstrated success in maintaining financial records
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks or equivalent accounting systems
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors, service providers, and internal team members
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential financial and firm information
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Familiarity with legal practice management systems
- Experience managing insurance renewals and vendor relationships
Compensation & Schedule
Hourly Rate: $30–$36 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15–25 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
Work Environment: Hybrid or remote flexibility with preference for Los Angeles–based candidates
