Fostering First Ireland (FFI) is seeking a motivated, highly skilled Business Support Officer to join our Business Support team, currently based in Dublin 8.
Following probation, the role will be based on-site at our office up to three days per week, with home-based work on the remaining days.

What You’ll Do
1. The Business Support Officer (Placements) offers high-quality administrative and digital support to the Placement and Marketing Teams, helping to coordinate and document foster placements.
2. The role helps support timely matching of children and young people with suitable foster carers through accurate record-keeping, reporting, and liaison with external stakeholders.
3. Contributes to digital marketing activity, data management, and organisational compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 7 or higher third-level qualification in administration, business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a busy administrative or business support role, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and scheduling social media posts; experience using Kirby and Canva would be an advantage.
- Strong IT competence, including confident use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and digital trackers/records.
- Experience using database systems on a daily basis.
