Chocolate Destinations Group is recruiting for an experienced, hands-on Café Supervisor at our stunning Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery.

Set on 15 acres of landscaped gardens and orchards, 10 minutes from Torquay on the spectacular Surf Coast, this unique tourism and hospitality venue has been carefully designed for locals, domestic and international tourists to enjoy year-round.

This important and exciting role will see you working closely with the Café Manager leading the passionate team in our 300 seat Café which is open 9am to 5pm, 7 days per week.

Your Role

As Café Supervisor, you will:

• Oversee the operations of the Café and supervise the Café team across shifts.
• Ensure we maintain high quality standards, presentation of the Café and our menu, and ensure we comply with OH&S and food safety regulations.
• Bring a practical and hands on approach to leading the Café team and delivering on our passion for awesome customer experiences.
• Demonstrate working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to supervise, motivate & develop a team of up to 30.

Qualifications

• Certificate of hospitality or business management is preferred, and/or 3 years of experience in leading and developing teams.

This is a permanent full-time position working 5 days per week including weekends and public holidays. Excellent remuneration for the right candidate.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
