Description:
To process customer payment transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeping track of customer accounts
- Data entry for receivals
- Balancing end of day sales
- Answering phone calls
- Stock control
- General office duties
- Accurate processing of customer payments and ensuring pricing is correct
- Issue payment receipts, refunds or order variations
- Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic work station
- Reconcile end of day sales
- Assist to resolve customer complaints
- Provide customers with accurate and relevant information
- Maintain accurate transaction reports
- Assist the head cashier as required
- Undertake general office duties as required
- Order stationary and office supplies as required
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience processing customer payments
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstated capacity to maintain accurate records
- Coordination and planning skills
- Cash handling skills
- Experience resolving customer complaints
- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of excellent customer service
- Commitment to working in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
