We are seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in Truro, NS. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will contribute to our mission of providing reliable transportation services that support our clients' success.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to transport cargo across designated routes.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
• Follow all traffic laws and company procedures during transportation activities.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license with appropriate endorsements.
• 3+ years experience as a truck driver
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Prior experience with automotive repair is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
