We are seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in Truro, NS. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will contribute to our mission of providing reliable transportation services that support our clients' success.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to transport cargo across designated routes.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
Follow all traffic laws and company procedures during transportation activities.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license with appropriate endorsements.
3+ years experience as a truck driver
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Prior experience with automotive repair is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
