Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team in Raleigh Durham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and safe for occupants. They will also use their people skills to market our services to potential clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Use appropriate cleaning techniques and products for different surfaces and materials.
• Assist with marketing efforts once a week, visiting potential clients and providing them with flyers and information about our services.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated time frames.
• Respond promptly to requests for additional cleaning services or special projects as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.

Experience

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, tools, and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

• Must have your own reliable, insured vehicle and valid Driver's License
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical task (bending, climbing stairs, standing, kneeling)
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Must be comfortable using several smartphone apps for schedules and communication
• Must be able to complete initial training in Fayetteville, NC

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
