Cnc Set-Up Operator

This position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills for precision machining.

-Knowledge of DMG-MORI machines is a plus.

-Manage set-up sheets and work instructions.

-Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and basic programming is a must.

-Strong troubleshooting skills.

- Experience with cutting tool selection, application, and speeds/feeds.

-The candidate must possess strong organizational skills.

This job is for you if you have:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.

· Experience with CNC lathes with live tooling. (MORI SEIKI a plus)

· Experience with sub-spindle machines.

· Experience with bar feeders.

· Experience with Fanuc controls.

· Ability to read and interpret blue prints.

· Ability to inspect your own parts with basic metrology equipment such as, OD mics, Calipers, Depth mics, dial Bore gages, bore mics, snap ring gages, telescope gages, thread plugs, gage pins, height stand optical comparator etc.

· Attention to detail is a must.

· Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation

- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products.

- Skills test will be provided.
