About your new role:

We are a rapidly growing finance business looking for a Commercial Manager to provide regional operation and sales excellence for the General Manager - Speirs Finance to help meet the strategic and financial objectives of Speirs Finance Group. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders (Speirs Commercial Managers, Speirs Credit, Yoogo Fleet sales) and external customers (equipment distributors, direct customers) to maximize asset finance opportunities for Speirs Finance.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop a wide range of relationships and networks within the industry to promote Speirs Finance Group and its products and services.
• Identify, target, and secure new quality dealerships and intermediary referral opportunities within your region to promote asset finance opportunities for Speirs Finance Group.
• Secure and transact direct business asset finance opportunities from your vast network and portfolio. You are responsible for growing a pipeline of recurring and new business to a level that achieves Speirs Finance volume and revenue expectations.
• Prepare accurate credit submissions for new and existing clients; ensuring they contain the relevant business and financial information to enable lending decisions to be made by the appropriate approval authority at first pass.

What you will need to succeed:

• Ability to interpret financial statements and provide a risk assessment.
• Strong Accounting or Financial Analysis skills.
• Ability to understand and analyse complex businesses.
• Ability to understand business, industry and credit risk.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or equivalent.
• A tertiary programme relative to Banking, either completed or under way.
