We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on various construction projects. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications
• Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish
• Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as needed
• Operate concrete mixers and other power tools safely and effectively
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required on the job site
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools
• Proficiency in construction estimating and planning
• Experience with hardscape installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and practices
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely
• Knowledge of plastering, carpentry, roofing, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration processes
• Experience with metal stud framing and frame carpentry is a plus
• Ability to perform caulking tasks effectively
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on construction sites
• Previous experience in reading blueprints or schematics is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day
