Concrete Laborer/Finisher

Konstruction King is a Union concrete contractor working for various cities across Northeast Ohio. Our work is seasonal normally beginning In April and finishing in December.

Experienced Concrete Finisher / Foreman

Konstruction King is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are union members or interested in joining. Experience in concrete finishing/forming is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Essential Duties

• Performs manual labor associated with job prep and concrete installing, including preparing grade, setting forms, molding edges and joints, smoothing, and finishing poured surfaces.
• Occasionally performs traffic control duties such as setting up/taking down traffic signs and flagging
• Loads construction materials, tools, and equipment into the company vehicles for each job.
• Uses a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and some heavy equipment.
• Participates in training and classes as needed
• Adheres to all company, state, and federal safety standards
• Communicated effectively with project manager, fellow crewmembers, customers, and the general public.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of three (3) years of concrete finishing experience
• Valid driver s license preferred
• The candidate must be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to work in a number of diverse locations is pertinent, as work locations may change daily.
• Punctuality, consistent attendance, and self-direction for the success of the operations.
