Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately assessing project costs and providing detailed estimates. This position requires a strong understanding of construction estimating principles and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. The Estimator will utilize industry-standard software tools to build comprehensive bids and ensure project profitability.

Duties

• Completion of tender site meetings, site takeoffs, plan takeoffs, specifications, subtrades, etc, to provide competitive pricing
• Maintain contact and relationships with existing client, Engineering firms and other organizations.
• Identifies labour, materials and time requirements.
• Complete cost estimates for internal review and project schedules
• Site meetings for clarifications with clients and Engineers.
• Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Maintain reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain costs database by entering and backing up data
• Contributes to team effort as needed
• Work closely and in conjunction with the Project Manager to assure all projects are completed in a timely manner.
• Prepare and distribute invoices on the a monthly basis.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
• Familiarity with project management principles is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using estimating software
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate pricing assessments.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
