Hiring Manager Note: We really need someone with some more vertical/building construction experience.
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator located in Durango, CO. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing blueprints and other documentation, collaborating with project managers and engineers, and maintaining accurate records. The Estimator will also be involved in identifying potential cost-saving measures and ensuring estimates align with project budgets and timelines.
Qualifications:
3+ years of estimating experience
Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and analyzing blueprints and other documentation
Experience in collaborating with project managers and engineers
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Ability to identify cost-saving measures and ensure estimates align with budgets and timelines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Experience in the construction industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
