We are looking to increase our staff to supplement the team.

Responsibilities of the job

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Follow grooming specifications.
• Have strong communication skills to do their job efficiently with team members and management.
• Have knowledge of asbestos removal standards.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with other team members and supervisors.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to work from platforms i.e;(scaffolding, ladders, snorkel lifts and scissor platforms)
• Ability to stand and to work continuously in confined spaces.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of metric or imperial.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral.

Specific job knowledge

• Have a positive attitude/culture through understanding, supporting, and working with other team members including supervision.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the position and standards set out in M.O.L. Reg. 278/05 standards.
• Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Education

• Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

One or more years’ experience preferred. Prior construction experience preferred also.

Certificates

• Class G Driver’s License
• Working at Heights Certification
• Whims 2015 Certification.
• Type #3 Asbestos Certification (an acceptation) or willing to learn

Grooming

• All team members must maintain a neat, clean, professional, and well-groomed appearance including requirements set out by our clients.

Notes:

• This business functions are based on five days a week, 8 hours a day. Monday – Friday 8am

– 4:30pm

• Upon employment, all employees are required to complete our orientation and fully comply with all our and our clients’ rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation, not only for our business but our clients also

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
