About the Role
As a Construction Supervisor, you’ll oversee construction and restoration activities — ensuring projects meets quality, schedule, safety, and cost objectives. You’ll manage in-house crews and subcontractors, coordinate with clients and consultants, and occasionally roll up your sleeves to help complete final project details.
You’ll also support estimating, assist Project Managers when needed, and help build new client relationships through your professional approach and industry know-how.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor trades and technicians to deliver high-quality, on-time, on-budget work
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure all work meets contract and code requirements
- Coordinate schedules, site safety, and resource planning
- Liaise with clients, adjusters, consultants, and property managers
- Identify and resolve issues in collaboration with Project Managers
- Support project documentation, cost tracking, and performance reviews
- Maintain compliance with health & safety policies and company standards
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ construction experience in site supervision or trade leadership
- Broad knowledge across multiple trades (restoration experience an asset)
- Strong understanding of BC Building Code and construction best practices
- Skilled in reading plans, estimating, budgeting, and project coordination
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry software
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Valid BC driver’s licence and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
