What you’ll do

• Represent clients in criminal cases, providing comprehensive legal counsel and defense strategies.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to build strong cases.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings with precision and clarity.
• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements when possible.
• Prepare clients for court appearances, ensuring they understand the process and their rights.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals on cases involving estate planning, immigration law, family law, and more.
• Stay updated on changes in criminal law and relevant regulations to provide informed advice.
• Maintain organized records of all case-related documentation and communications.

Basic qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing
