The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects from award through to completion. This is a key role, responsible for maintaining high standards across all sites, building strong client relationships and supporting the commercial and operational performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery in line with specifications, programmes and budgets.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, representing the business professionally at all times.
- Coordinate with site teams, supervisors, operatives and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical information to ensure full compliance.
- Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues early and maintain high safety standards.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Support tendering activities, including pricing, material take-offs, scheduling and technical input.
- Work closely with senior management to improve processes and strengthen project delivery across the company.
About You
- Previous experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project role within construction, passive fire protection or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of project management, site operations and client communication.
- Confident working with clients, contractors and internal teams across multiple projects.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Valid Safe Pass and full driving licence.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) certification.
