Job Title: Customer Service Specialist
We’re looking for a professional, steadfast individual to serve as the frontline for customers and vendors, managing inquiries via phone or in person with efficiency and resolve. This role demands a "help first" mindset while supporting the customer service team through critical office functions, such as precise data entry, customer assistance, and proactive problem resolution in a demanding setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and resolve customer inquiries promptly and effectively, even during high-volume periods
- Execute accurate data entry in our accounting software, maintaining high standards of precision
- Process orders with speed and attention to deadlines
- Conduct basic troubleshooting to address issues swiftly
- Provide consistent customer support and follow-up, ensuring commitments are met
- Work closely with management to monitor and report on accounts, including current and past-due items, with a focus on accountability
- Organize and file paperwork methodically to support seamless operations
- Maintain and update essential reports, such as backlogs and Accounts Payable past-due lists
- Support inbound and outbound shipping logistics, adapting to fluctuating demands
- Assist in inventory stocking and workspace organization, upholding cleanliness and efficiency standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven reliability and mental toughness, with a track record of performing under pressure
- Unwavering attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong problem-solving abilities in dynamic situations
- High adaptability to changing priorities and multitasking demands
- Experience with Prophet 21, Sage 50 or Sage 100 preferred (training available for qualified candidates)
- Superior organizational skills and the discipline to manage multiple tasks without compromise
- Fluid Power experience a plus (training provided for those who demonstrate potential)
- Ability to maintain composure and deliver results in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour
