We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Customer Service team in Business Area Foodservice and Liquid Board. This position is based in Imatra. In this role, you will report to the Customer Service Manager and act as a key link between our customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth order execution and an excellent customer experience.
About the role
As a Customer Service Specialist, you are the first point of contact for customers and play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will be responsible for managing customer orders end to end, resolving complex issues through investigation and collaboration, supporting customer complaint handling when needed, and ensuring clear, timely, and accurate communication throughout the order lifecycle.
The main responsibilities in this position are:
- Provide exceptional support and assistance to customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with customers, maintain product knowledge, and deliver timely and accurate information or solutions to meet customer needs.
- Manage the full customer order lifecycle, from order entry to delivery, including pipeline management and sample requests.
- Maintain and update customer master data.
- Communicate daily with internal stakeholders, including sales managers, logistics, mill production planning, and supply chain coordination teams, to ensure efficient customer material flows.
- Plan and follow up on customer deliveries, manage stock levels, and proactively offer available stock materials to customers.
- Monitor customer sales plans, quotas, and order books, taking corrective actions when needed.
- Act as first-line support for sustainability-related topics.
To succeed in these responsibilities, it is important that you maintain a close contact with sales, production planning, other customer service and supply chain teams, and logistics, ensuring that information flows smoothly and continuously.
About you
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in customer service and/or sales.
- Hands-on skills to support the digitalization of the customer journey and the development of more customer-focused, data-driven service.
- Ability to perform under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you are a team player, comfortable working in an international matrix setup.
- Positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude, with the ability to quickly analyze situations and solve problems.
- Capability to think across the end-to-end supply chain.
- Fluency in both verbal and written English – Finnish is seen as an asset.
- Knowledge of IT tools used in customer service (e.g., Advanced Excel, VBA, Salesforce, Celonis, PowerBI).
- Knowledge of the industry and related sales processes is considered an advantage.
