Position Summary:

Lough Rynn Castle, a luxury hotel set on an idyllic 300-acre estate, is seeking a courteous and reliable Day Porter to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the castle and assisting guests throughout the day, ensuring a warm and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including the lobby, corridors, restrooms, and entrances.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and event spaces.
• Provide assistance to guests with luggage, directions, or special requests.
• Ensure all supplies such as towels, toiletries, and paper goods in public areas are stocked and refreshed regularly.
• Respond promptly to guest service requests and communicate effectively with the front desk and other departments.
• Ensure the castle grounds and exterior walkways are clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
• Assist in deliveries and stock movement around the property.
• Act as a visible and helpful presence within the estate, upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to assist guests.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of Lough Rynn Castle and its history is an advantage (training provided).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: €13.50-€14.50 per hour
