Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety standards are maintained
• Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adapting to traffic conditions and customer needs
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring deliveries meet expectations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents during transit
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
• Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory movement or organizing stock when not on delivery routes

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving expertise in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate trucks and vehicles confidently
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform moving tasks safely
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and driving in various conditions
