As DB’s Demand Planner, you will drive accurate demand forecasts for our beer, cider, and RTD brands, ensuring optimal inventory, minimising stockouts, and maximising customer service. You'll gather market insights, collaborate with key stakeholders, and influence data-driven forecasting to support business growth. Playing a key role in the monthly S&OP process, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for driving zero loss.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop accurate short- and long-term forecasts using AI-based tools, integrating market intelligence and sales data to improve accuracy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to incorporate promotions, new product launches, and competitor insights into forecasts.
- Monitor and enhance the AI forecasting tool, ensuring seamless integration with promotional planning and finance systems.
- Align demand and supply plans through the monthly S&OP process, presenting insights and data visualisations to stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships, influence forecasting inputs, and ensure clear communication of demand-related insights.
- Maintain Excel models, analyse trends, and drive efficiency through process optimisation and Heineken’s continuous improvement programme.
- Apply analytical skills to resolve demand planning challenges, minimise losses, and contribute to long-term business strategy.
Your background and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning, preferably within the FMCG industry (experience in the beverage industry is a plus).
- Fast learner with growth mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation. Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with AI-based forecasting tools or other sophisticated planning systems is highly desirable but not a must.
