Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This role requires proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and maintaining electronic medical records. A background in a dental office is required for this position.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Curve software
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries
  • Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is beneficial
  • Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is essential
  • Strong administrative skills with experience in front desk operations
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
