Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team with various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and dental assisting best practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge Itero
- Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Dentrix.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
