Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will support our clinical team by preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, and providing excellent patient care. Previous dental experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.

- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or similar
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care.
- Support the front office staff with administrative tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or similar.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training is required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
