Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring smooth office operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic or Dentrix
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the clinical area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly environment that eases anxiety
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with dental software platforms such as Epic or Dentrix is highly desirable
- Familiarity with orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry practices
- Knowledge of CAD systems used for digital impressions or imaging is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Ability to work well within a team, multitask efficiently, and maintain attention to detail
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in customer service roles within healthcare settings is beneficial

Pay: $20.03-$30.17 per hour
