Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing daily office operations, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows within a dental setting. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where strong communication and multitasking skills are essential. Prior dental office experience preferred, along with experience in using EDI to submit claims. The Office Administrator will be responsible for overseeing administrative functions, coordinating with clinical staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This is a replacement role.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups using Tracker Software
- Maintain accurate electronic dental records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with billing, insurance processing, collecting patient payments, and next appointments
- Handle correspondence, phone inquiries, and communication with patients and vendors
- Ensure compliance with PHIPA
- Support clinical staff by summarizing appointment expectations, approximate cost, correct scheduled time, and any specific appointment notes
Skills
- Proficiency in Tracker Software
- Strong understanding of dental terminology
- Experience in dental administration
- Knowledge of dental scheduling and billing
- Familiarity with budgeting processes relevant to dental treatment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with patients, staff, and vendors
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures quickly.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
