JOB TITLE: Pediatric Dental Office Manager

Compensation & Benefits Overview:

  • $18-$22 per hour (based on experience)

General Info:

We are currently looking for a driven and team-oriented Dental Office Manager to oversee all administrative operations in our dental office. You will take charge of all administrative responsibilities for front-office employees, including reception and dental assisting specialists.

To excel in this role, you should be self-motivated, highly organized, a good communicator, and have the talent to inspire teams. It is important that the prospective candidate understands how to manage staff schedules and billing systems.

Job Duties:

  • Guaranteeing office productivity, developing and managing all internal office procedures and practices.
  • Maintaining the dental clinic’s staff schedules.
  • Delivering direct individual and team leadership to ensure all office employees produce outstanding client service.
  • Coordinating the day-to-day execution of office practices that increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Responding to clinical and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicating with company business center and regional manager.
  • Supervising and training new office employees.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to meet the physical requirements and demands of an active position, including but not limited to:

  • Extended duration of standing, walking, stooping, bending and sitting.
  • Adequate hearing to perform daily work.
  • Must be able to adjust physically and emotionally to a spontaneous, fast-paced and sometimes hectic environment.

Required Skills, Education & Experience:

  • A high school diploma or relevant certification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior dental administration experience.
  • Should have exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Must be friendly, professional, and highly organized.
  • Solid understanding of dental billing and insurance procedures.

HAZARDS: The dental office environment may result in employees being exposed to toxic chemicals, radiation, potentially infectious materials, and increased noise levels.
