About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Digital Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the business, through the provision of high quality management information. This role partners closely with business units to define requirements, deliver actionable insights, and support digital tools—primarily Tableau, Exchequer, related business applications and other core business systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and improve BFree’s ‘data model’ for management information, which incorporates business applications including Exchequer, beCPG, Excel and Tableau, as well as third party data sources such as 3PL logistics providers.

• Manage, maintain and develop data flows using Tableau Prep.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and validate business management information requirements, including the finance, operations and sales teams, and senior management.

• Develop reports and dashboards using Tableau, translating data into meaningful insights.

• Own and administer Tableau as the core finance analytics platform, supporting end users.

• Analyse data workflows, such as the data feeds between applications, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, automation and drive business improvements.

• Lead and contribute to analytics and digital product projects from ideation to implementation, to enhance management information for decision making purposes.

• Participate in project delivery processes using tools such as SharePoint, Excel, SQL, Exchequer, beCPG, Sage200 and Azure.

• Support and maintain business applications and data workflows to ensure uninterrupted service.

• Facilitate workshops, document functional/non-functional requirements, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  
• Drive the use of AI to deliver process improvements and enhanced analysis.

Key Skills and Experience

• 3+ years’ experience working in an information systems/finance environment in a business analysis or similar role.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Information Systems or a related field.

• Strong understanding of data sources, applications, organization, and storage.

• Proficient in using Tableau, OneDrive, Excel, SharePoint, SQL.

• Knowledge of Exchequer, Sage200, beCPG would be an advantage.

• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Financially literate with an understanding of key business metrics.

• Skilled in designing and interpreting data models.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement in business processes.
