SEO Digital Marketing Department Manager

Company Overview: We are an established SEO marketing company with a decade of success, driven by exceptional content writers, creatives, and web designers. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO Digital Marketing Department Manager to lead our team and build our department.

Position Overview: Organizationally, this is a foundational role. The DM Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and be the key liaison between departments and senior management. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, strategic mindset, and a commitment to innovation and training.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Direct and motivate the digital marketing team to achieve departmental goals and foster a collaborative work environment. Be the direct liaison between the department, other divisions and senior management.

Content Development: Ensure the production of high-quality content that meets SEO best practices, working closely with writers and creatives.

Team Development: Mentor and support team members, promoting professional growth and accountability, and ensuring high quality standards.

Project Management - Strategic Planning: Manage projects, timelines and budgets assigning appropriate talent for on time, in scope delivery. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams. Develop and implement effective strategies utilizing tools like Metricool which analyze performance to make data-driven decisions

Innovation: Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices that will positively affect team performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

Proven experience in digital marketing, specifically in SEO, a strong understanding of social media, content writing, keyword management, brand growth and media design. A history of demonstrable professional accomplishment in your work history is essential.
