Daffodil Care Services, a Daffodil Care Group company is now recruiting a Director of Services for our nationwide mainstream and Aftercare residential services for young people. With a strong emphasis on family, Daffodil Care is committed to working with young people and their families through a clearly identified Model of Care, promoting the values of therapeutic child and youth care engagement. Reporting to Executive Management and directly to the Group Service Director, the Director of Services will be responsible for the overall management and oversight of Daffodil Care activity nationally as well as clinical and corporate governance. This key leadership role will act as lead support to the broader Management Team and will support Managers in all aspects of service management and provision including Operational, Programme, Human resources, Financial and Risk management and planning. This rewarding role will suit energetic, creative, and versatile managers with a passion for working with young people.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ social care management experience ideally in children’s residential services
  • Minimum level 8 degree in Social Care OR level 7 in social care and a relevant management qualification
  • A current full driver’s license
  • Experience in and demonstrated ability to empower others to achieve and change management.
  • A successful record in the delivery of care services to a high standard and results focused.
  • Demonstrate action planning, prioritisation, budgeting, and resource management skills.
  • Knowledge of human resource, financial and project management
  • Strong administrative and technology skills
