Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, ensuring a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry and work alongside culinary professionals.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and assisting with catering or banquet setups when required
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables to uphold sanitation standards
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good organizational skills and teamwork orientation
- Basic understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Flexibility to assist with various kitchen duties including bussing, food prep, or serving when needed
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
