The Drake Hotel is seeking an experienced + reliable Dishwasher (Part Time), who is looking to join a fast-paced kitchen team. The position offers the opportunity to work with a fantastic culinary team with a busy day and night time operation, including regular and special events business. This is a part time role, with shifts mainly on Saturday + Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Washing all dishes and cooking equipment
• Maintain clear and open communication with the Back of House team
• Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
• Emptying garbages and recycling
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Helping with small kitchen prep as required
• Maintaining detergent and sanitizer levels for dishwashing machines and sinks
• Restocking hand wash sinks with soaps and paper towels
• Maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen and receiving areas

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, work in a wet and confined area with elevated temperatures, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience assisting in other areas of the Back of House is an asset
