We are looking for Duty Manager for our liquor store – BlackBull Liquor based in Porirua to join our team who will be responsible for the below-mentioned duties:

• Assisting the Store Manager with organizing, managing, and leading the overall operations of the store.

• Assist in delivering a super shopping experience for our customers while monitoring and upholding the store’s legal obligations and conditions of its license and the requirements of the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

• Giving super-friendly service to our customers.

• Ensure creative use of retail merchandise strategies to execute store displays, and promotional displays.

• Manage product range, stock levels and coordinate with suppliers accordingly.

• Helping with marketing activities, store advertising, and promotions.

• Assisting with rostering, cash handling, budgeting, and health & safety aspects.

• Maintaining store standards including maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene protocols.

• Train the staff at the store to perform their best on daily basis.

• Contribute to the company KPI's and sales target of the store.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $28 to $32 per hour.

Other important requirements:

• Minimum six months of relevant work experience

• Duty Manager’s certificate highly preferred

• Available to work in a rostered shift.

• Availability to work on weekends

• Physically fit to be able to stand for longer hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Rotating roster
• Weekend availability
