Really Cool Afterschool and Montessori School is looking for full time & part time Early Years Educators/Practitioners with minimum FETAC level 5. Successful applicants will have a passion for working with children, be motivated to inspire and be part of a great team and have an in depth knowledge of childcare regulations and legislation. Your role will be to support the learning and development of the children in our childcare setting and ensure that the child's individual needs are met.

Requirements

• A minimum (or equivalent to) Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent)
• Good organizational and teamwork skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A working understanding of Siolta and Aistear
• A kind, fun and nurturing disposition
• A love of working with children
• Motivated to participate in training and staff meetings

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team and be committed to resolving any difficulties and conflict resolution
• Communicate constructively and listen actively
• Participate in the development and delivery of curriculum whilst following childcare regulations
• Develop and implement strategies to guide positive behavior
• Observe and record children's growth, development and behavior
• Observe and record information to create meaningful learning experiences based on children's interests and needs
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic, and safe
• Undertake administrative tasks as required
• Ensure confidentiality and respect of children and families at all times
• Model meaningful interactions with children, colleagues, and parents

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €15.00-€17.50 per hour
