West Four Group of Companies has an opportunity for the right individual to join us. This person will report to both the local Operations Manager and Director of Sales, working under the Penner Doors & Hardware brand.

Position and Responsibilities

· Responsible for creating sales estimates on commercial steel doors and frames, architectural hardware and building specialties.

· Prepares, submits and tracks bid/tender documents.

· Reviews supplier and subcontractor proposals and pricing.

· Reviews contract documents.

Education and Qualifications

· Minimum of two years of work experience with Commercial Doors & Hardware or related items is an asset.

· AHC designation or interest in pursuing DHI training considered an asset.

· Strong knowledge base of the construction and building materials industry.

· Post-secondary education is preferred: Construction Engineering-related sciences such as an Architectural & Building Technologies Diploma or Architectural & Interior Technologies Diploma.

· Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.

· Problem-solving and advanced Excel skills are required. Basic computer skills are imperative.

· A realization that customer service and relationships are a primary focus.

· Organizational skills and self-motivation are important attributes.

Estimators will participate in the Penner Estimator Commission program, subject to experience and on-boarding timeline.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
