- Permanent Part-Time Positions Available in Christchurch/Canterbury for experienced Support Workers. Particularly seeking Selwyn area cover.
- Hours are 64 (0.8 FTE) - 72 (0.9 FTE) per fortnight, rostered across 7 days, including weekends, split shifts and afternoons.

Te Mahi/About the Position
A day in this role will see you:
- Working autonomously with a wide range of clients in the community.
- Following a care plan, to provide the required level of care to our clients in their homes.
- Liaising with colleagues regarding client care and wellbeing.
- Using your personal vehicle to drive between scheduled visits.
- Utilizing a cellphone and scheduling application to access your work schedule and client care details.
- The role will involve a range of tasks, including, but not limited to: Personal Care, Domestic assistance, hoisting, medication oversight, Compression hosiery, Ostomy and Catheter cares.
Hours of work:
- This is a part time position, working either 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE) or 72 hours per fortnight (0.9 FTE).
- Hours of work are guaranteed and rostered over 7 days of the week, within our service hours of 7am and 9.30pm.
- A commitment to work rostered weekend days is required.

To be successful in this role, you will be:
- Confident or capable of learning all Nurse Maude competencies.
- A confident driver, good with technology.
- Professional, honest, reliable, and friendly in your approach.
- Able to quickly form safe, therapeutic relationships with clients you care for while maintaining professional boundaries
- Effective and professional in your communication
- Physically fit and able to complete all physical aspects of the role.
It is also required that you:
- Hold a full New Zealand drivers' licence and have your own reliable transport.
- Are legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
- Have a level 3 (or above) NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent
- Have received at least two covid19 Vaccinations and be able to provide evidence of your vaccination record.
Previous experience in the industry would be preferred. Training in the specific role is provided.
