Factory Operative

About the Role

Moyne Roberts Ireland Ltd are currently looking for a Factory Operative to join our team.

The successful candidate will work as part of our production team, carrying out fire extinguisher refilling and assisting with general factory and warehouse duties.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, practical, safety-conscious and enjoys working as part of a team. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Refilling fire extinguishers in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.

• Carrying out routine handling and preparation of fire extinguishers for servicing and dispatch.

• Assisting with the inspection, cleaning and preparation of extinguishers.

• Moving and organising stock and equipment within the factory/warehouse.

• Preparing completed extinguishers for collection or delivery.

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

• Following all company health and safety procedures.

• Completing relevant paperwork and records accurately.

• Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements.

• Carrying out other general factory duties as required.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Be reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.

• Be comfortable with physical, hands-on work.

• Have good attention to detail.

• Be able to follow instructions and established procedures.

• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

• Have a good understanding of workplace health and safety.

• Previous factory, warehouse, manufacturing or fire extinguisher experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

What We Offer

• Full-time, permanent position.

• 39 hours per week.

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm

• Friday: 8:00am–3:30pm

• €14.15 per hour.

• Full training provided.
