As a result, we are looking for experienced Process Workers to join our production team based at our facility in Banyo. They will manage day-to-day tasks and ensure the smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. Description:
We are looking for people who work best in a hands-on role, enjoy working as part of a diverse team but have the capacity to also work autonomously. We have a full-time permanent shift available from Monday to Friday in our Food Production.

Job Summary

Position: Full-Time Permanent Role

Shift Time:

• Assembly: 6:00am to 2:06pm (Mon to Fri)

Key Responsibilities

Food Production (High Risk):

• Receival and inspection of cooked products
• Machine operation for packaging of cooked/chilled products
• Machine operation for slicing and dicing of cooked products
• Machine operation - x-ray
• Using computers involved in machine operations

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to work in cooler environments (around 8°C).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work and team.
• Enjoyment of physical and repetitive work.
• Previous experience in a 24-hour FMCG environment

Skills and Experiences:
•
Packing – fast-paced, physical role, you must be OK to work in a chiller environment

•
Food Preparation – involves cutting meat & vegetable ingredients to specification for processing, measuring, mixing and preparing food for various cooking processes

•
Assembly – involves working on a line with repetitive actions and moving parts; running of food to different areas; lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs

•
Cleaning – food work areas, machinery, equipment, all internal parts of factory + some external areas

•
Stores – working in cold-room/freezer environment; must have forklift ticket, high reach experience, pick packing
